MATH WORKSHOP
I have always wanted to do a Math Workshop, but have focused on Reading and Writing first. Now that I feel comfortable with Reading and Writing Workshop, I will start a Math Workshop this year! This is something that will help me reach all of my students. I have started searching online to see how to best implement it. So far… it has totaled one hour. Again, let’s hope all this time is available. It will start with a short 5/10 minute mini-lesson where I will introduce and model the lesson objectives. We will then go to centers! 1- Group Work with me at the carpet, 2- Math Games related to the unit, 3- Math Work Book pages. We will end with a closing as we come back together and discuss what was learned, comments, or questions.
